  1. Hello, I just read a tutorial on shirring on the serger. I have a Babylock Evolve and wondered what exactly did you bypass so that you get a good chain stitch?

    • I bypassed all the tensions and went straight to the port hole and pulled it through with another piece of thread and then kept all pressure off the elastic thread roll. I didn’t thread it through the tensions or guides on the side because I didn’t want it stretching before going through the chain stitch part! Does that make sense?
